Anyone who's visited their life-changing Musee Internationale de la Croix Rouge in Geneva will know this is not a decision they take lightly. They've sent their people into places you wouldn't want to visit in your nightmares."
They are pulling out because they generally believe it is unsafe for their people to be there. One thing an occupation force must do to comply with the Geneva Convention is to provide adequate protection for medical teams.
